Ebba Eyrin Cask Aged Cornish Sloe Gin

Rich sloe fruit, gentle tartness and the warmth and softness of oak. Ebba Eyrin is a limited-release Cornish sloe gin, matured for a year in oak with hand-picked Cornish sloes. Just 200 bottles, each containing 500ml at 28% ABV.

What does it taste like?

The sloes bring deep fruit and a velvet tartness, while a year in oak adds warmth and softness. Rich and rounded, Eyrin holds the coastal spirit of our gin in something deeper.

Rich fruit, gentle tartness and oak-matured depth. Choose Eyrin for a fruit-led, cask-aged expression rather than the bright citrus of Ebba Coastal or the savoury seaweed character of Ebba Tidal.

How to serve

Enjoy straight to explore the sloe fruit and oak, or pour over ice and add ginger beer for a longer serve. For a sparkling option, try a little Eyrin topped with Prosecco.

Gathered by Hand, Kept by the Sea

When the first frosts came to the hedgerows around our distillery in Praa Sands, we picked the sloes by hand, one dark berry at a time, and added them to our gin in an oak cask.

A Year in the Dark

Through a full turn of the seasons, the fruit and the spirit slowly came to know each other. Crafted at Mounts Bay Distillery in Praa Sands, West Cornwall, the only wood-fired distillery in England. Our wood-fired distilling tradition is the starting point; the sloes and a year in oak shape this limited release.

Open it by the fire and share it across the table. Eyrin belongs to the sloes we gathered, the year we waited, and whoever opens a bottle.

Bottle or Gift Tube

Each bottle is hand-filled into soft stone ceramic, closed with a wooden stopper and finished with a simple cream label. Choose the bottle on its own or with a hand-painted birch wood gift tube.
